Live at Bart's

HARRIS GILMORE: singer/songwriter, harmonica, slide guitar, percussion, (including a pineapple and plastic milk carton with brush).

Harris Gilmore led HARRIS & THE HOTHEADS into a soundtrack and appearance in the movie; SLEEPING WITH STRANGERS, (Paramount  Pictures 1995), some radio airplay with the HARRIS penned blues/rock harmonica love song, STUCK ON YOU, and numerous appearances at Blues Festivals on Vancouver Island.  Harris followed that up with his first full length cd, EVERHIP, with HARRIS GILMORE AND THE MIDNIGHT BAND.  Then, just for fun, HARRIS moved to Kuwait for three years and played underground to sweaty, full houses with his international band THE SHAKES.

Originally a drummer, HARRIS played with blues/folkie KEN HAMM, (Juno award winner), while also pursuing a career as a professional stage actor, before moving to the west coast. Harris is still a ham.

AL SABOURIN: lead guitar.

He has been in Victoria for 15 years now after a misspent youth of touring around in rock bands. He originally played with the Cultivators when he arrived and ended up recording the guitar on most of the Islands reggae bands cds. He then formed Rainshadow an Afro/Latin/Rock band, which played at numerous festivals and events and recorded 2 cds. He has played on numerous cds and even a few movies as well as performing with a wide variety of bands at every major festival in Victoria. In 2000 he turned his attention to acoustic latin jazz and has recorded 2 cds with Los Gringos Locos and will be at this year's Jazz festival once again. He stumbled into the MOJOS so he probably doesn't remember any of this
